My friend Travis (link possibly not worksafe) is an artist of many, many talents. He carved this as their pumpkin this year, and it's gorgeous! Behold: the lovely Death Pumpkin .
I think of a Despair pumpkin as one that wound up getting smashed onto the pavement by pranksters. ;-)
